About Beiser

Beiser Environnement was created in 1976 by Bernard and Annie Cogniel, and is a family firm specialised in the sale of agricultural equipment. The head office is based in Bouxwiller (67), 30 minutes from Strasbourg. A European leader in the sale of agricultural equipment by telephone, the firm employs 85 individuals, including 12 drivers. Sales cover a geographic segment including France, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium and Poland, where a subsidiary was created.

Beiser Environnement is specialised in the supply of equipment for all types of agricultural operations, and has developed its activities with intelligence and effectiveness to reach the number one slot in Europe. The company generated a turnover of 20 million euros in 2005 (305,000 euros in 1976). Still driven by the same basic principle, ensuring local services for customers, Beiser Environnement has based its success on diversification, innovation and one-on-one customer listening. The Beiser Environnement vehicle fleet currently delivers to 400 customers each week and covers 1.5 million kilometres every year on average.
1976-2016: 40 years of challenges!

2016 was an exceptional year for Beiser Environnement: its 40th anniversary! The company has become the undisputed leader in the sale of agricultural equipment by telephone over the last three decades.

Major innovations

40 years of innovation have led to changes in the trade of the sale of agricultural equipment, with, to mention just a few:

• 1985: launch of new-generation troughs
• 1987 :Launch of the range of tanks for the storage of liquid fertiliser, fuel and water
• 1990: launch of the concept of direct sales by telephone, an immediate success
• 2001: launch of the phytosanitary storage range to meet the need for conformity
• 2005: launch of complete solutions for agriculture and industry: nitrogen and fuel stations
• 2007: more than 2000 m2 at SIMA 2007, displaying the entire Beiser range
• 2010: launch of Beiser as a manufacturer, particularly of high density polyethylene tanks.
